As of late 2009, India was still without a viable vitamin-water option on the market. The people at Narang Group, the bottlers of QUA Natural Mineral Water, saw the potential of being first to market with a functional, water-based beverage that gave consumers more vitamins and minerals.
Co+ developed a complete range of functional smartwaters called QUA Plus, with quirky names and cheeky concept stories on each package. Co+ created the names, packaging designs, marketing mix and brand diamond, and was involved in product tasting for the final six beverages, bottled in Germany. The QUA+ product-line has strengthened Narang’s portfolio so much so that Danone of France entered into a joint venture with the Narang Group.
